Welcome to Iceni’s new website. We’ve been under construction for quite a while now, holding back rather than shouting out; standing out rather in a 24x7 online world and an industry noted for its noise and bravado.
The design is intentionally pretty simple. Lots of white space; not too many words; gentle on the hubris. I’ve also tried to avoid the technical, focussing on the “what” rather than the “how” (for that you’ll just have to ask). I hope it also gives you a bit of an insight into how we see the company evolving; with a strong leaning to “building new businesses”, leveraging our technical and operational knowhow to establish partners rather than customers.
One thing you will have noted is this ever present “blog” section. Something that I hope will allow us to keep the site fresh and relatively informal; somewhere to add more content quickly and simply. We have a couple of guest bloggers on there at the moment (the active ones) with Lesley-Ann and I set up to add some more soon (I promise).
My aim for these blogs is not always to be “on message” and the views expressed in these blogs are very much our own personal perspectives. But clearly, whether posted here or elsewhere entirely, what we say does reflect on Iceni – so there’ll be a natural limit to our freedom of speech.
And as we grow and build on our first markets we'll seek to add to other contributors, providing perspectives both from “the field” and “behind the scenes”, though please forgive me if we continue to be a little reticent to say too much too early.
